• Networking Goals: Information about what you're looking for and what you can offer

• Event Details: When you create events, we collect event name, description, date, time, location, category, and event images
• Event Participation: Information about events you attend or express interest in
• Event Images: Photos you upload for events

Communication Data

• Chat Messages: Messages you send to other users through the in-app chat feature

3.1 Public Information

The following information is publicly visible to other users of the App:

• Your profile name, role, company/school
• Your bio
• Your interests, looking-for, and offering tags
• Your profile picture
• Events you create (including event details and images)
• Events you are attending or interested in (your attendance status is visible to other attendees)

3.2 Limited Sharing

With Other Users

• Event Attendees: Other users attending the same events can see your profile and contact you through in-app messaging
• Search Results: Your profile may appear in search results when other users search for people with similar interests or from the same company

With Service Providers

• Supabase: We use Supabase to host our database, authentication, and file storage. Your data is stored on Supabase's servers. Please review Supabase's Privacy Policy
• Google: When you use Google Sign-In, Google processes your authentication. Please review Google's Privacy Policy

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to:

• Location: Your data is stored on Supabase's secure servers, which may be located in various regions
• Retention: We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can delete your account at any time

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: Data in transit is encrypted using SSL/TLS
• Authentication: Secure authentication through Supabase Auth and Google OAuth
• Access Controls: Row-level security policies restrict access to your data
• Regular Updates: We keep our systems and dependencies up to date with security patches

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5.1 Access and Update Your Information

You can access and update most of your information directly in the App:

• Profile Information: Edit your profile through the "Edit Profile" section
• Event Information: Edit or delete events you created through the event details page

5.2 Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time:

• How to Delete: Go to Settings > Delete Account in the App
• What Gets Deleted: When you delete your account, we will delete your profile information, events, attendance records, chat messages, uploaded images, and authentication account

• Notifications: You can disable push notifications in your device settings
• Location: You are not required to provide location information for events

6. Children's Privacy

Connec8r is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using Connec8r, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
